The new rug is in!
It all looks great and bright and happy.

Lots of yellow, though. Time to layer in some more colors!
Didn’t Nick do such a great job with the makeover of the coffee table?
But when I look at our living room, I see these weird words and pink circles floating around the room…
Then I have to shake my head and tell myself to shut up…
And just enjoy.
We’re getting there, one step at a time.

LOVE IT!!!!!
LOVE IT! Such a classy, happy room!
Bright room!! Yes,I love it!!!
Definitely enjoy what you have- it’s a beautiful beautiful room!! Only necessity may be the cat toy basket (speaking from experience
The coffee table definitely is great- will make me look twice at wood furniture from now on.
You and I are so similar in that we think 10 steps ahead. Maybe it’s pregnancy?! No, who am I kidding, that’s me all the time! Love the rug. It’s perfect with your grey couch and newly painted coffee table!
OMG, do we have the same brain? That is exactly how I look at my space: as a list of things I want to fix – complete with weird words and pink bubbles.
When people come over or I put pics up on my blog, I always want to clarify: “This is how the room looks now, BUT — ”
Anyway, I love love LOOOOVE your room! Wow, it is so happy and beautiful. You really can’t go wrong with the foundation you’ve already laid.
Glad I stopped by . I’m in the baby steps club myself. I love our rug and that pretty mirror!
Whoops, I menat I love YOUR rug… duh.
I do the same thing.
Love what you’ve done so far.
I think that pink dot thing is an illness! I share it too. It’s looking pretty. Love your color combo!
Nice! I found my eye drawn to that teal blanket draped over the couch arm… That would be a great color to go with the grays and yellows in the room! Thanks for linking up to Roomspiration today!
Cute post! I think we all suffer from the voices in our head’s telling us we need to add this or that to a room to make it finished…it’s looking great! Take time to enjoy it before the voices start up again.
Ha! I am the EXACT SAME WAY!!! I always hate to show pictures of my home because I want to include like 30 asterisks of what I want to change!
Love your rug!!!
I think I will always love that rug. It looks fabulous with your gray couch! And that coffee table is adorable! I do the same thing with rooms but I’m trying to get better at being patient, content, and, like you said, just enjoying what I already have.
