Craig’s List… yes, again

After our last Craig’s List debacle, I declared that I hated it. That I would never use it again. But really, come on.

We set a few ground rules:

1. The item had to be awesome (as in WE LOVE IT not WELL ITS CHEAP)

2. The item had to have a very good price. If not, we would offer a lower price. If the price was good, we would offer an even better price. It doesn’t hurt to try.

3. We would always go and see the item in person first before deciding to buy.

I’ve been browsing the List for a while and after seeing Nuestra Vide Dulce and MFAMB‘s awesome CL finds, I’ve been more inspired to find something midcentury and cute. We especially needed a dresser for our guest bedroom, so that was our first mission.

Mission accomplished!

We got the price down from $190 to 100 and it is a Bassett, which is a very good thing for vintage furniture.

Craig, we’re back on. For now…
